tea

pakistan is the third largest  consumer and importer of tea in the world, according to CPS 80% of people drink tea regularly.  so there could be possibly a new idea for tea making companies that is tea bag containing powdered milk, sugar and tea leaves.  it could be offered in sugar free tea bags for those who are suffering from diabetes and also for those who are health consious. it could be a new charm for people because this tea bags will provide everything that a person wants to make tea except hot water..

the Fate of MBA students

the students who are studying in other disciplines think that doing MBA is an easy job.. they feel that a person who does not know what to do in his career, takes admission in MBA for passing time. and looking at the trend of MBA's passing out every year, one can claim his or her statement to be true.. but is MBA actually easy???? well.. ask an MBA student.. he or she will be able to tell you about the pros and cons of doing MBA and he or she will be able to tell you whether it is easy or not.. i often have this discussion with my cousin, he is doing ACMA, according to him MBA is a waste of time and after doing MBA one's career is finished. he says he knows many people who have done MBA and many people who have done ACMA, the ACMA's get better jobs and the MBA's get jobs of assistants to ACMA's.. i agree to some extent, looking at the saturation of job market for an MBA student. but the point of disagreement is that getting a job depends on the person's own capabilities.

my cousin often says that you do ACMA, you get a degree equivalent to MBA after i don't remember how many semesters. but looking at the grading criteria in MBA and in ACMA, one can easily say that doing MBA is not an easy job.. in ACMA, you get marks above 50, you have passed in that subject. a person who gets 90 and a person who gets 55 are both equal, because there is only the concept of passing of failing in ACMA. whereas in MBA, there are various grades for which students work hard. there are various grades for different marks.. A to D and then F for fail.. agreeing to the statement that MBA is done by many people nowadays but it is not an easy job to do.. trust me..it's not easy..

Career opportunities

we students study a lot.. work really hard to pursue  our future careers.. it is really hard to think that you are working hard and then you don't get anything in return..especially when one has been a really hard worker in their student era.. and then they do not get job according to that.. students are really dishearted when this happens.. in this era, students have to be really careful when choosing their careers..
there are a lot of degrees nowadays.. students have many choices.. ACMA, MBA, ACCA, MA, etc. some say that one can get a lot of job opportunities after doing MBA, some say that they can get a lot of opportunities after doing ACMA, some say that they can get a very good job after doing ACCA. if you see the market trend nowadays, there are a lot of MBA's in the market and some of them are doing great jobs, some are unemployed.. some are looking for career opportunities abroad.. the job market for MBA's has become really concentrated.. it depends on your luck nowadays, whether you get a job or not.. what will become of our country.. we hope that the steps taken by government are such which do something for creating jobs for us..

we pakistani's

the whole world knows it's as terrorists, just because we are Muslims and Pakistani's.. Wednesday is our fault besides that?? we have abundance of natural resources. we have two big sea ports.. we have beauty in our nation which is more than the beauty in the whole Europe. our singers are known worldwide for their exclusive voices. our designers are known worldwide for their exclusive designs.. our sports industry is famous in the whole world.. our football was used in the FIFA world cup before the child labor case emerged. our textile were famous all over the world before the energy crisis.
we have so much in our nation that can not be compared to any other nation. we have various classes in our nation but when something affects us we all stand up as one person. we are not punjabis, sindhis, balochis, or pathans, we are Pakistanis. and we will always remain as one. the whole world is afraid of our pathan brothers, they know that pathans are the fearless creatures of ALMIGHTY ALLAH. the devaluation of currency will be adjusted someday.  the bomb blasts that happen in our nation are not because of us, they are because of the other people who are trying to disgrace our nation. the terrorist attacks will be finished someday. we will have political stability someday. before all of you make an opinion about our nation, think about what our nation had given you and what your nation is capable of. we are Pakistanis and we are proud to be Pakistanis.

advertisements

we see a lot of advertisements on the TV everyday. advertisements are a source of awareness for an individual. so companies should be really careful in the advertisements they make as these ad's will leave a long term impact on the customer. and most of the consumers make their preferences after seeing an ad of any company..
in our economy, huge competition is observed in the telecom sector. mobilink releases an ad, the very next day one can see a new ad of telenor. they all respond to each other's ad's very quickly.
few years back, and ad of ufone used to come in which ufone criticised other network operators openly. the ad had a beautiful girl in it who was shown as the apple of everyone's eyes. but when she speaks, her voice forces everyone to leave. she only says "teri mehrbani" and everyone goes away. they were criticising the other networks that they do not have clear voice signals whereas we do. which is not true.
there was this another ad of ufone which criticised telenor's djuice.

the best ad's nowadays are the ad's of servis, the new ad of warid glow, the mobilink ad that is on air nowadays. servis ad has been made in a really beautiful way.. the song, the people, everything was good. the message was delivered by the use of all the above mentioned things.
warid glow ad has also used song, many people to convey the message. the ad is attractive. at least to me it is..

will our fate change?

today is the day of elections.. everywhere people are casting their votes.. some with less problems, some are facing a lot of problems but are trying to cast their votes.. some cases have also been reported that are the evidence that rules are being followed in elections for the first time in history ever.. some politicians who did not have real id cards have been stopped from casting vote.. this has created unrest among the politicians. but it is a good sign in a way.. this shows that rules are same for everyone whether it be a politician or a lay man..
election commission has come up with an amazing solution to all the problems. on every news channel a number of election commission is being showed which is to be used when any problem or misuse of vote is done, or if someone else is observed casting vote of someone else.. it is a must for every person to take their id cards with them, which is again a really good attempt. this way problems can be sorted out soon.. some parties are thinking of boycotting this election.. what is the reason behind that no one knows.. but it has been predicted that if more than 65% people get out of their homes to cast votes, the fate of this nation will change.. but what about the people who do not get out of their homes despite all the attempts????

current scenario of pakistan..

OK so the whole world knows that the elections are going to be held tomorrow in Pakistan.. who knows who will win and who will lose.. Pakistan has faced a lot of problems in the past years.. we hope that which ever Government takes over, they do something good for the nation.. they help bring the nation back to where it belongs.. they help finish corruption.. they help build the education system.. they help the nation in all the ways they can, instead of helping themselves increase their bank accounts..
the popularity chart shows that PMLN is more famous than the other parties.. they have done a lot for the country but instead of giving the laptops, taxi's, etc they could have done something that helped develop the nation, something that helped finish terrorism, they could have solved the electricity problem that has been there in Pakistan for a long time now. the textile mills have shifted to Bangladesh, if the energy crisis was solved they would not have done so.. the blame does not only go to PMLN, it also goes to the current Government..
according to the predictions, PMLN is going to take the majority seats.. let's see what happens.. whatever happens should be in the best interests of the nation.. that's all that matters to any Pakistani.. people are loyal to their parties.. they promote their parties wherever they sit in a gathering.. i think that everyone have their voting right and they are free to vote whoever they want to..
the investors are holding back their investments so that when the new Government comes they are going to go through their policies and then they are going to decide whether to invest in our country or not..

please do think before casting your vote, as one vote matters a lot.. one vote can get a party to win and one vote can help a party lose.. think about what your country has been like during the rule of all the parties.. your vote is with which party????

vampire diaries vs twilight

so we have all watched twilight saga and some of us know about the seasons of vampire diaries. beginning with twilight, it was a good movie, infact the book is way better than the movie. they were not able to show everything in the movie that was there in the book. but the problem with reading book is that it is time consuming. but anyhow reading book is more fun. the movie was released in 2008. twilight was a story of a vampire, a warewolf and a girl. both, the vampire and the werewolf were in love with the girl and both wanted to be with her. both were enemies of each other. after four sequels, the movie ended. in the end, the vampire gets the girl. movie was excellently shot, the locations were beautiful.

vampire diaries on the other hand is a series. it has a small budget as compared to twilight, but i think they have used that budget in a useful way. it is again a story of a girl falling in love with a vampire, this series also has warewolves in it. the only difference is that warewolves in the series are smaller than they were in twilight. this series was released in 2009. the difference is in the story. the girl is in love with two brothers and both of them are vampires. there is a witch in this series, something that was not shown in twilight.
both were awesome but i think that vampire diaries it's no it's fun to watch than twilight. small budget series had outdone itself. i even suggest to other friends that they should watch vampire diaries. i think there is only one problem with the series, it takes alot of time and patience to watch it. can one imagine to watch only one episode that is of almost an hour, and the whole season is of 22 episodes. but there is one interesting fact related to this, every episode ends with a suspense and one can not leave the season without watching the episodes. three seasons have been released so far and the fourth season is also releasing episode wise. 20 episodes have been released so far. the writer says that she is working on the fifth season too. let's see what happens next.
comparing the celebrities in the movie and the series. the male lead of twilight was cuter than the lead of vampire diaries. the female lead of vampire diaries is better. both had amazing stories. but i prefer vampire diaries.. what do you have to say???

dreams...

we often dream about a lot of stuff.. sometimes we remember what we had seen in the dream, sometimes we do not remember.. science says that when a person is sleeping the subconscious mind of a person starts working and whatever thoughts the person has had during the day come as a dream to that person.. some people say that one should not share their dream with someone else as it reverses the meaning of the dream.. some people do not believe this..
it is often said that if someone sees a snake in his dream it means an enemy is planning something against you.. if you see a dead relative in your dream it means that person is trying to remind you something.. so what is it that dreams actually mean? who can interpret them correctly? who can tell the real meaning of a dream? i do not think there is anyone who can do so.. because as science has given evidence that it is just the play of our subconscious mind and nothing else.. one can give it a shot, try not to think about anything during a day or try to occupy yourself so that nothing bothers you and that night one might not see any dream at all..
there are some people who do not see dreams for days.. i am one of them.. mostly i do not have any type of dreams.. unless my mind is too much occupied with something.. though it has been true in some cases that the dreams that some people saw did become true.. but that would be rare cases.. our subconscious mind does not work during the day it activates when we are relaxing and it shows us the images that we want to see as dreams.. a girl often dreams about a prince charming coming on a white horse but that dream does not come true always.. so dream about some things that can be fulfilled by you.. dreams that are real, not just fantasies..

sometimes...

it happens..sometimes we expect too much out of an event or a person.. Shakespeare once quoted " if you want to be happy stop expecting.. sometimes we attach our hopes with something which might never work.. something which can never come true.. something that will hurt us as much as it can.. not all people have the capability to come up to your expectations.. sometimes we work really hard for something to work out.. sometimes we work really hard for an event to be the best event for everyone.. but when the hard work is not appreciated, one feels that their effort has gone in vein.. efforts are only done when there is someone to appreciate your efforts.. when they are not appreciated then the person stops trying.. and then when some other time comes up when the effort of that one person is needed, he/she is reluctant to even try..
we, humans, often misunderstand the feelings of other people.. we often treat good people as bad and bad people as good.. and when we to understand what we had done we are left with no option.. it has been observed that most of the people have failed to fulfill the expectations attached to them.. something that can be observed in anyone's life if they try to think about it once.. sometimes your friends fail to understand you, it is usual for anyone to put their faith in their friends and to expect from them, when they fail one seems to think what he/she lacked.. sometimes we are perfect in all aspects but just one habit or one word can ruin everything.. sometimes it takes years to overcome your experienced fears.. sometimes people are not able to forget what has been done to them..

happy days are over...

when a new semester starts, everyone is so excited to get into a regular routine. the starting days are the best ones. one can easily relax in those days and even have a lot of fun, one can think of participating in any extra curricular in the start of semester. slowly the days pass by. teachers give projects but most of the people do not pay attention..they save that work for the last days, pretty much confident that they will be able to finish it on the last day of deadline even. one is really relaxed unless any quiz is taken or an assignment is given.. days pass by and no work is done. then one day a bomb explodes. and that bomb is "midterm exams". all of a sudden, someone is heard saying that the date sheet is out. that's when the first tension starts. some papers go well, some don't.
as one is done with their mid terms or sessionals.. tension starts.. why??? because all the teachers want their projects to be completed 1 or 2 weeks before the finals.. now one has to complete all the projects and assignments in the due time they have left.. one after another tasks are assigned of different projects. one has to go through various books, through the internet and collect data and then write what is required to be written. when all the work is done, then preparing the power point slides is left for the last day. when they know that the presentation is due the next day then they start making slides and end up finishing them on the day the presentation is due. and then when the presentation is done, one is not satisfied by the work done by them. they feel that they could have done better if they put a little more effort. sometimes they are able to achieve good grades in the projects sometimes they are not able to perform good. and then after all the projects are done, one is left with the finals. they have to prepare for the finals. after the finals one promises with him/herself that they will work on time from next semester but that next never comes.. it is our nature, we can not change our habits, or maybe we don't want to.. we are used to working at the last moment..

some things leave their marks on us...

sometimes, some memories, some people, some places, and so on leave their mark on us. and that mark is sometimes really deep.. sometimes we go to some places the memories of which remains with us.. i have been to alot of places that have alot of memories linked to them.. the people who i met were all really great people and now when i compare those people with the people of my nation, i feel alot of difference.. i feel that some people are really mean and they only talk to people when they have work..
the memories that i have with those places are the most special ones. i have had the best days of my life, going out with friends, going on tours, chatting with friends. in short, i have enjoyed every single moment of my life with my friends, my family, my cousins.. but i feel that as time is passing people we are linked to are getting busy with their lives, having their own priorities, having their own schedules.. one often feels neglected by the most important people of their lives.
some places are really special. maybe because of the memories linked to them, maybe because of their beauty.. i feel that i have seen some of the most beautiful places on this Earth. but most still remain to be visited and seen. if i had the chance to have a tour around the world, i would love to go because one only gets one life and you should enjoy every single moment of this life by seeing all there it's in the world, by keeping a good company, and most of all by remembering that this life had been granted to us by ALLAH, HE has given us this life and HE can take it back whenever HE wishes to.. leaving you at this thought, have you been successful in satisfying the people linked to you and have you been able to satisfy ALLAH???

weekend is over... :-(

i am sure all us of wait for the week to be over so that we can relax at home, enjoy a little, catch up with some people who could not be in touch, and so on.. and when the wait is over and the weekend is in front of us, we think for a moment that what our plans will be.. how we will spend our weekend.. we make a long list during the working days.. but when the weekend is there finally, we seem to be blank.. and then the weekend passes with us resting at home and doing nothing else except the work that can be done at home..
most of us like the working days.. but i prefer weekend and holidays.. though it is a fact that too much holidays get me bored.. unless there is something fun to be done.. most of the people i know hate the concept of "Monday".. we have to go to work or go to universities, schools, colleges.. and it all starts when Monday starts.. and we count the days till the weekend, keeping our hopes high.. it seems like there is nothing better than a weekend..
when one stays too much at home, he wants to go out and have some fun but for someone who is mostly out, he sure loves spending some quality time at home.. playing games, watching TV, sleeping through the day.. if i would be allowed to sleep during the whole weekend.. i would love to do it.. but the problem with being a student is that weekend comes with a lot of works.. some assignments to be done, some projects to be done, some work of home to be done.. students can never be at peace.. if there is any day of the week that i hate, it is Monday..

happiness of students..

students.. they try to stay calm during the whole semester.. it seems like there is nothing that can bother them.. they like to chill, hang out with friends, have parties,etc.. in short enjoy and enjoy.. they do not care about anything.. their attendance, class participation etc.. some students have a really calm attitude towards studies.. they do not care about studies till the day when exam is on the head.. on the day of exam they are studying as if they will be able to score an "A" by studying on the day of exam..

the days of exams are the toughest days of all.. students count each and every day after an exam is over and think that how many are left now.. on the day the last exam gets over, the happiness of students is to be observed.. they do not know what they will score in the exams, but they are happy that at least the exams are over.. they are happy as if they have reached the moon..

if it was up to us, students, to schedule the academic curricula.. we would make such a curricula that exams will be held only once a year, students will have classes two or three days in a week, there will be no compulsion of attendance, nobody will be accountable for holidays done, the exams will be on open book one, students will be asked what questions to include in the exam paper and so on.. this would be our dream education.. but we know it is something that can not be done.. so we have to face the current scenario.. and be a part of it.. so we are patiently following this curricula hoping that some changes can be made according to our demands..

Educational Struggle of a Pakistani student

Pakistan is economically a strong country but its residents are economically weak. They go for each possible way by which they can earn something for themselves or their family. And that’s why when a couple have a new baby in their life they start dreaming of giving him every possible education that could make him economically strong and by which he could make his own identity in society. They start dreaming of making him doctor, engineer officer or any kind of reputed professional. For this purpose they take three important steps in his life. They start from his schooling; they go over each possible option; both private and governmental schools; where they came to know that private institutions ask for fee’s that are even more than their earning so they go for governmental institutions. And when it comes to “Pakistani’s governmental educational institutions” then it’s famous for its lethargy.
Most of government school’s teacher attends schools just for paper work they have no concern with the educational future of a student. The next step parents takes towards making their child’s life is to get him admitted in any good college; where he could study to get good grades to appear in entry test for medical and engineering line, but here once again they have to choose between a private or governmental institution. Some take risk by admitting their child in private institution by giving more than half of their savings while some once again chose governmental institution for their child as they have not enough resources to take risk. Now here the race begins between a governmental and private institution. Private institution do their best to make their students able to appear in top ten students in Board examination so that next year they could get more costumer or profits in the name of student while government institution put their efforts in “Booti” system, bribe, or backhanding. And when intermediate’s student’s results are announced; then most of the positions in top ten are obtained by those governmental institution’s students. But the reality of their grades are revealed when they appears in entry tests held for medical and engineering fields; here most of the students that fails to make it through the test are those who obtained very good grades.
Now here question comes if the student was so good or studious to take marks in intermediate then why he didn’t made it through the test? It’s just because the governmental and private institution focuses on making marks but not to make him understand what he actually is studying about; in other words “Ratta” system is followed. After this the last step is taken for making a student “Bara aadmi” (big man) and that is if he clears the test he gets admission in medical university, engineering university or if not then any other university in any other field, in either way now they have to face university forces. In most of the universities female students are harassed by lecturers and professors; while with male students the language used by some lecturers is unethical. There are also some need based scholarship announced by government for students but the authorities’ behaviors are so much insulting; that those students tries to avoid applying for it who need it, while they who apply are not needy one but they apply just for fun or greediness.

There are also some kinds of students who don’t bother to respect even those professors who are loyal with their field or them; and that’s the reason what makes a lecturers or professors behavior harsh towards his student. Somehow by hook or by crook at last a student gets his master’s degree; now once again his struggles starts to get a job that is economically best for him; some gets their jobs again by backhanding while those who fails to get a good job tries small level jobs and some out of frustration of being jobless; finds Suicide as an escape from all the worries and problems they are facing. A dream that parents dream for their child ends on either in the form of a person having his job and established life or in the form of suicidal death of their child but in this over all cycle the question arises what the Educational systems or institutions of Pakistan is contributing towards development of the society.

what we have become today...

we, humans, are considered to be the superior among all the creatures yet we sometimes behave like we are the worst of all. at times it seems we don't care about anyone or anything. we forget the purpose of our creation. how many of us remember ALLAH when we are happy? how many of us thank HIM for HIS Grace, and Mercy? i don't think there are many among us who offer Namaz. if one is able to offer prayer, they might not be fulfilling the other pillars of Islam. we don't remember ALLAH unless we are in pain, unless we are sad, unless we are faced by any trouble. why can't we remember HIM in happiness, prosperity,  and so on. there are some exceptions to this, some people are there who dedicate most of their time for ALLAH, and carry out their normal routine as well, they have balanced lives. why can't we take them as our role models? why do we follow the super stars, super models and so on?
at times we regret the things that we had done in the past, the choices we made, the time we wasted in useless things, and so on. why is it that we always have to go through a bad experience to learn about the wrong choices we made? why can we not follow the path of Islam and spend our lives according to it? we even fail to understand that when a human is angry at us, it takes alot of time for us get that person on talking terms again, but if ALLAH it's angry at us, it only takes a apologetic prayer to say things right again,  HE loves is more than 70,000 mothers.
people of all religions have faith in ALLAH in one way or another, Christians believe in JESUS, Hindus in bhagwaan and so on.. but the difference between them and us is that they follow their religion strictly, they have their prayer timings and they pray at that time. but when it comes to us, we say that give us 5 minutes, 10 mins, or maybe were will start from tomorrow. we need to refresh our faith in ALLAH and make it so strong that devil can not break it even after trying hundred times.

winters, summers, rain........

the weather is like really cool since yesterday.. anyone would like to sit in and have a cup of coffee or tea.. but not me.. it is raining since yesterday, and i went out for shopping yesterday.. it seemed like any second a storm might start.. but i kept my hopes high.. the weather was really nice and i would not risk it for anything at all.. so i stayed out till the rain started.. it was raining slowly and slowly.. i walked back home..it was fun..

i remember when i was in Bangladesh, it used to rain there too much. It used to rain for 2 months and sometimes more.. it used to stop for sometime and then it used to stop for a while..but it rained most of the day.. i love rain.. it seems to me that there can be no life without rain.. no one can enjoy a life without it.. i remember once it rained in my university and i was wearing a "khussa" so, me and my friend, we took off the shoes and walked bare foot in the rain.. fun days they are when it rains..
i remember one day there was a hail storm in Islamabad.. it was really cool, the only problem being that no sound could be heard.. and when it stopped, the roads were full.. people were stopping their cars just to take pictures..

i am a kind of person who prefers winter and rain over hot and sunny days.. it seems that i am allergic to summers. i love winters. i love having ice cream, having coffee, having soups in winter.. winter is more fun than summer. i don't know who like summers.. most of the people i know, prefer winter.. i don't think that there is anyone who would not go out in winter.. one can go out anytime, whether it's sunny, cloudy or raining.. but in summers, one can not think of going out especially during day time..

this is just my perception..someone else could have a different view....

awesome shows, movies, serials...

i was watching this show the other day, it was being hosted by Shehzad Roy..the show is about the education system of our country. i think he is doing a good job, getting us aware of the facts that we don't know about our system. i remember watching another documentary on "Geo" the other day, showed some schools that were built for education but animals were there in that building instead of students. the other talkshows that are being telecasted are a waste of time.
i also watch this other show on AXN,"wipeout" it has some celebrities who are required to perform certain tasks and then they get to win the prize money, i really like that show because they are required to finish one round and face alot of hurdles in the way. Indians also tried copying that show having Shahrukh host the show, they were able to copy the show but the original show still holds the charm.

i remember watching this movie the other day that basically showed a gangster who is not like gangster at all. it was a good movie worth spending time on but the end was disappointing. the ending was not as awesome as the movie was, something that didn't go with the flow of the movie. but then it's something obvious that has to happen in Hindi movies. i watched "the green lantern" the other day, it was a really cool movie. there are some other movies that are also cool like "Asterix and the vikings", "the megamind", "paranorman", "brave","pirates:the band of misfits" and so on.. a really big list..

the serials that are being on aired these days address based on reality. they are showing the problems that are there in our society these days. i remember watching this serial last year, it was about a daughter and his mother, how they are thrown out of their house and they end up living in the mothers house i.e. grandma's house, how they are treated there but the aunt, and how everything goes well in the end. i really liked the concept of that serial. i also remember watching this other serial that was based on a girl, her mother dies and gets her married to her nephew before dying, because she is poor, she is not liked by her mother in law, and she eventually throws her out of the house, but then how she comes back and is accepted by her husband and what becomes of the mother in law is something to be watched. i don't know what exactly was the concept of that serial but what i perceived it's that truth can not be hidden, no matter how hard you try.
i watched series named "Vampire Diaries", i really liked it. then this other series, "The Supernatural",that is also cool to watch.

i think that we should watch some good stuff whenever we have time to refresh our minds and know about things that are going on in our society and besides that, have some entertainment. well said by someone, life's short,  so enjoy it to fullest..

the role of women in a society..

women play a major role in a society. they are an important part of our economy. I'm not saying so just because I'm one too. I'm saying it because it is true. a women plays several roles at one time. she is a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister and so on. there was a time when girls were buried alive, but this tradition was finished after Islam came. even today in some places daughters are not considered a good sign. i remember watching a serial on GEO Tv, it was based on the concept that after marriage, only the things that a girl brings is important, not her nature, obedience, or any other good quality is important.
i have heard alot of stories about violence with women. the Pakistani movie "BOL" displayed some issues that are not considered important despite the fact that they are happening every other day. it is happening in the advanced countries as well. Islam has given equal rights to men and women.
if you see today, women are working as doctors, teachers, actresses, they are also working in the corporate world. still a major portion remains at home. some are allowed to work, some are not allowed. there should be a limit to everything, if they are allowed to work, they should keep a check that they do not do anything that is against the dignity of her family.
you see women hosting morning shows, they are seen hosting talk shows, and they are pretty good at it. of course there are some jobs that can not be done by women. there are certain skills that women lack, but i think they can be trained for those skills, they require polishing in certain areas. if women are given proper authority, they can be very beneficial for the economy. i remember reading a case study the other day that mentioned that women are not involved in the IT industry in UK,so they are encouraging women to join that particular field. i think that women should also be encouraged in our society, so that they produce positive results for our economy.

Cell phones....

we all use cell phones.. some of us use them for a reason, that can be for being in touch with your family or friends etc.. some of us use them for show off.. some people have two phones at one time.. one for show off and the other one for using..

when you buy a new phone it takes sometime when you start understanding the usage of the phone.. sometimes it takes only a few days, sometimes a week, sometimes a month, and so on.. those of us who are good at picking things they understand quickly others take some time..

i remember when i bought my first phone it was a simple Nokia phone.. no camera, multimedia, internet etc.. the phone was small, had no functions at all.. but i didn't have to charge it daily.. then as time passed, i thought of changing my phone..so i bought Nokia n76.. a really cool phone.. with multimedia, camera, SD card and so on.. i really liked my phone.. i used it for a long time.. meanwhile i also used phones of Motorola, LG, iPhone, but i found my Nokia to be the best.. the battery timing of Nokia and other features.. all are different than other phones..

i am not good with gadgets.. i think that there are a lot of functions that my phone has but i am not aware of them.. same is the case with other girls.. guys are good with gadgets, and anything related to technology.. i think Nokia has best battery timing after Samsung.. Sony has the best camera, so does HTC, Sony also has a really good sound system.. Samsung also has good graphics..

I am not sure about iPhone, not that i have not used it, it is just that my experience with iPhone is not a good one and i don't know some of the uses of it.. like, if a background application is running i don't know how to close it in iPhone.. and i am not ashamed to say this to everyone..

our generation...

anything can be 'in' today, looking at the trends that are common today.. everyone wear what they want to, eat what they like, speak as they please. and so on.. the dresses that our generation wears today make no sense, the color combinations, the stitching, etc all are weird but it is fashion.. i think everyone has created theiroitem trends.. and at times it seems that they don't care what others think about them..

can you imagine a girl wearing a Capri and short shirt with high heels and she is also wearing socks.. can you imagine a guy wearing maroon jeans and big shoes.. these are some live examples that i have witnessed myself.. it often happens that you seem to be impressed from some person dressed beautifully but when that person talks you remember, the ufone ad, "teri mehrbani.." the image crashes all of a sudden :-).. it is at times hilarious to watch someone dressed like that..

our generation has the tendency to sms all the time and at times it seems that they don't get tired of it.. it's not that they keep on chatting, they also forward texts without checking for their relevancy.. the sms packages that are active in Pakistan are not there in any other country.. i have been to Saudia, Bangladesh, UAE, but i didn't come across these packages there..

it has been told again and again that the young generation can change the fate of any nation.. but i don't find it to be happening in our nation.. because our youngsters are concerned with latest fashion, latest gadgets, facebooking, latest movies, latest songs and so on.. in short they only care about themselves.. there are some good aspects of our youngsters too.. some of the youngsters are working for the betterment of our nation too.. some youngsters prefer to go abroad and work there whereas some of them want to go but ultimately return back to do something for our country..

i hope that our generation turns out to be fruitful for our nation.. i hope they help prosper the nation.. i hope that they do something that changes our image in the eyes of other Nations.. i am not saying that they forget themselves and only think about the nation.. besides their own selves they should also think about the nation..
