Peace...

we are on the highest rank than all the other creatures...yet we sometimes behave worse than the other creatures..we all know about the terrorist attacks that had been going on in Pakistan since last 5 to 6 years..when going out from the house, no one is sure whether they will return home safely or not..everyday seems like the last day..i don't know what has gotten into us that we have become so cruel..we hear news of people being kidnapped and them never returning back...where they go?who kidnaps them?no one knows..

in our normal days, if someone says something wrong about us..we quit talking to that person..nowadays we do not even try to understand what intention a person has..how much that person cares about us?how close that person is to us?

an uncle of mine got killed by some people..why???because his friend was killed by those people and he was the witness..so they killed him too..this is not the only incident that has happened..thieves kill people just because they refuse to hand them over their money...this is the tolerance level of our society..why have we all forgotten the lessons of Islam??Islam is a religion of peace..not violence...

we fail to understand our religion and the sayings of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SALLAHO ALAYHI WA ALLAYHI WASSALAM)..time and again HE(P.B.U.H) projected tolerance through HIS behavior..we were not like this before..if we go back in time..people used to be more welcoming when some guests came..relationships were more strong than they are today..if one of the family member was in problem, everyone used to help that person out..even if someone unknown was in trouble..they used to be there...
but today, everything has changed..people have changed..as time has passed more luxuries came in..that drew everyone away from relations, humanity, brotherhood, neighborhood etc.. no one is willing to help anyone in any kind of situation nowadays..just because of the sense of insecurity..Today if someone asks for a lift..no one is willing to give it..because they are afraid that the person might be a thieve..

Why have we come to this?? Why we can not be like the way we used to be?? Is anyone going to take a step to make things go the way they used to be?? Is our country going to be like the way it used to be?? no terrorists attacks.. no stealing.. no killing.. is peace ever going to come in our society???  well..we all have to play our part..we all have to work on ourselves..only then Peace will come back..

memories....

memories...some are the most precious..some are a bit less precious..some are not precious at all..but still we remember all the memories..a time comes when while sitting down, the memories come one by one..and memories are the only thing that remain with us..people leave us..but memories don't..
the happiest moments one had with their families, friends, and others...and the sad ones..one might regret the memories..or they might use those sad memories to learn a lesson for lifetime..and move on...
it often happens that people get stuck in their sad memories..they do not try to move on..but it is also true that some people teach us lessons for lifetime..one learns from the experience they have..it is upto us whether we use that lessons for our better life or use it to stay miserable..being miserable does not help us in any way at all..rather we get away from other people who care for us..and we remain with nothing..

it has been said by some one that "if we all were to put our worries on a table and talk about it..we would all walk away with our own worries.." we usually think that we are the only ones who are affected by something and that others are very happy..it does help to share, something that is bothering us, with someone..but in the end it is us who have to deal with it..we have to think whether we want to keep the precious memories with us or the sad ones...and life would be better...

Social networking sites....

due to globalization, the use of internet emerged..before, only elder people used to use internet (sometimes).. but as time passed..youngsters started using it..using it for going to certain chat rooms and chatting with unknown people..no young person knew the exact use of internet..as time passed and the needs of people changed..social networking sites were introduced..today, we all know about social networking sites...but some of us don't know the use of these sites..some people just use these sites for adding random people for time pass..some people use them for being in touch with friends who have gone abroad..some people use them for just use them for passing time..
when we hear about some new site that is being used by many people we try to have an id there..it is human nature, we tend to go for every flashy thing thinking that it is gold..some people are judged by their behaviors at these sites..by the updates they provide..the pages that they like..the kind of posts that they share on these sites..
sometimes we are unaware of what change will be brought if we click a single setting that is not known to us..today, nothing is secure..everything and anything that we do is not safe in these sites..i remember using Hi5 in 2005..then i used Orkut..but it was nothing compared to Hi5..i think these sites are good if you use them for the right purpose..know the purpose...n then go for it..according to a survey, Facebook is the top most Social networking Site that is used nowadays..it has the highest number of users..earns the highest revenue..there are other sites too..thanks to Sir Majid Aleem for giving us such an activity...some of the social networking sites are:
how many of these you know about and have used?????

Rain...

Some people like rain, some don't....i personally think that rain brings out the real you..some people feel romantic when it rains..i think that the emotions we are trying to hide in normal days come out when it rains..rain is for enjoying..but it is true that everything comes with its con's and pro's..rain is good when it is sometimes..but when it rains daily for some days, people get sick of it..i remember a trip from university to my home once..it was raining that day..raining so heavily that nothing could be seen..we had to come all the way in that rain...
sometimes when you are with friends, you can enjoy the rain..when you are alone, sometimes it brings back the memories that were locked in some corner..it seems that everything happened just yesterday..a lot of singers have sung some songs related to rain..but i like "bheegi yadein" by Atif Aslam..its a good track to listen to when it is raining..its like my respected teacher Sir Nasir Mehmood once said: "if you are happy from within, the world seems like the happiest place every...but if you are sad from within then nothing can cheer you up..."
some people like the sound of rain..some like the smell of soil that comes after it rains after many days...some people like to go out on bike in rain...some people like sleeping when it is raining..whereas some people think that when it is raining you can not go out, can not do anything..some people like to sit in and have a cup of coffee..some people listen to slow music when it rains..
when it rains..i usually remember the days that i spent with my friends..some of them have gone to other countries, far from reach..some are in contact..but still when it rains i miss all of them..rain, for me, brings back my memories of school..the moments we had together..the fun we had..

Facebook.....

Facebook was launched in February 2004, it is owned by Facebook Inc. Today Facebook has over one billion active users. It was launched by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow Harvard university students. The membership was initially limited to Harvard university students but later on expanded to other universities and colleges too. Today it offers membership to anyone who declares themselves as above 13 years old. Facebook has a revenue of $5.1 billion. I remember when I made my Facebook account, back in 2005 or 06 I don't remember exactly, I would only go online once a week. I used it to stay in touch with friends who had left for abroad. As much as I know about Facebook it is a good way to be in touch with friends, but there are some problems too. Initially Facebook was really secure to use, no one had to worry that an unknown person can access their account and it was easy to use and understand. But as time passed Facebook became more and more complicated. When one gets a grip of the current settings, they are changed. It takes some time to get used to the settings. Most recently the timeline introduced by Facebook has made everything different. Nothing one does is private. Of course, one can add certain security barriers but still if your friends like your particular activity then its public. But no matter what happens, people are addicted to these sites. Some people decide to stay whereas others quit, n I am one of them probably.... as time will pass things are going to get more and more complicated. Even though things are complicated, still people love Facebook. They are always online on Facebook, posting status updates on important as well as stupid things. And their friends keep liking those stupid updates. When they do not have anything to do they simply start adding random people...
